Chicalim gram sabha opposes nationalization of Goan rivers

 The sarpanch has assured to forward the resolution to the government. 

The state government is set to sign a memorandum of understanding with the union government over the use of Goan rivers for transport of goods and people,

but many Goan people are apprehensive of the move because the control of rivers will be passed on to the central government.
