WRD warns people to be cautious while visiting the overflowing Selaulim Dam

The Water Resources Department officials have warned the public to be cautious while visiting the dam to witness the breathtaking view.

The spillway began to overflow from about 9 in the morning on Tuesday.

This year there has been a delay by three days in filling of the dam as compared to last year.

People from nearby villages started visiting the dam area for the view however they were unhappy since they were charged for entry by the forest officials.

WRD officials later confirmed that the entry fee is charged for entry into the botanical garden and not the dam.
