The trend in Goa is to send their children to city schools for better education. But the SSC results show the opposite trend.

The village schools have shown better results. Almost two third schools that have scored 100 per cent results are village schools. And three hinterland talukas top in the 100% results. Dharbandora, Canacona and Sanguem.

The SSC results declared on Thursday show that altogether 95 schools have scored 100% results. Out of these, 73 schools are village schools. Only 22 schools are the city schools. It means almost 77% village schools and only 23% city schools have scored 100 per cent results. And 22 among them are government schools. Not private.
