Sans street lights, residents of Bhatwadi in Ona Maulingem travel in dark

Despite several complaints by the local residents, the authorities have always turned a blind eye and the area has always remained neglected.

Locals have demanded that the street lights should be installed immediately in the area as it is difficult to even walk in the dark.

This area is under the jurisdiction of Maulingem Kudchire panchayat.

There are houses in the area with electricity connection but the connecting roads are always under darkness.
