GU permits colleges to admit 10% more students

This decision of the University will be applicable from this academic year.

This decision was taken by the Academic Council of the Goa University in a meeting held on the 22^nd of this month.

All the colleges with Arts, Commerce and Science will have an additional 10% intake, while some colleges will have additional divisions.

The additional divisions are subject to approval from the government.

Those colleges which are getting additional divisions will not be eligible for 10% increase in student’s intake. Registrar of Goa University Prof. Y V Reddy gave more details.
