Gandhi Jayanti marks Swatcha Bharat Abhiyan all over Goa

Swatcha Bharat Abhiyan is an initiative organized by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi to ensure cleanliness in the state and the Country.

Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar participated in the drive in Ribandar as part of the programmes held all over the state. 

 Swatch Bharat was also observed at Cortalim panchayat. Local MLA Alina Saldanha said after six months she will call Governor Mridula Sinha to declare the cleanest village of Cortalim constituency.

 Mormugao municipality also organized a cleanliness drive. Some municipality workers were felicitated during this program.

 Colva beach known as the Queen of beaches was cleaned up by Colva panchayat with the help of Kidzee school.
