Fisheries Dept to crack down on illegal fishing: Palyekar

Minister Vinod Palyekar said the department is also thinking over procuring and providing new equipment for fishermen.

Fisheries Minister Vinod Palyekar distributed life jackets to the fishermen residing in and around Vasco on Friday.

These jackets were provided by the Indian Coast Guard during the Special Community Interaction Programme held at Veer Savarkar Auditorium at Ravindra Bhavan Vasco.
