Executive members of municipal union boycott Margao civic body meeting

They boycotted the meeting because the chairperson had earlier shown displeasure over the attendance by all executive members.

 The meeting, however, went ahead with union president attending it.

 The meeting was convened to discuss the demands of the municipal employees union. Most of their demands have been accepted by Margao Municipal Council.

The deadline for settling their demands has been as October end.
