7 illegal shops removed by Sancoale Panchayat

This was done as part of action against encroachments on Friday.

The drive was initiated after complaints that shops had illegally encroached on the road and in front of the bus stop which was hampering traffic and also the commuters.

There is no space along the roadside for parking leading to extra traffic congestion.

Sancoale sarpanch Girish Pillai stated that they have start an anti-encroachment and cleanliness drive in the Zuarinagar Market to send a message that they would not bow down to pressure and strict action will be taken against violators.
