These are some of the reasons Goa 365 found could explain why in Goa in only 2 out of 56 corruption cases booked charge sheets are filed, a totally abysmal record for such a progressive state. 

The national crime records bureau data for the year 2015 has shown that the state has the poorest record in the country in charge sheeting corruption cases.

The next lowest compared to Goa’s 3.6 per cent is Himachal Pradesh with 14 per cent. Most states have over 50 per cent of the corruption cases investigated being charge sheeted.
