Vasco house catches fire

A house at New Vaddem in Vasco situated near Noorani Masjid caught fire on Tuesday morning. The material loss is estimated to be around four lakh rupees. No one was injured in the incident.

Nazareth Rebello and other family members were away at work when their house caught fire.

One bedroom was completely gutted in the fire.

The roof was burnt and three cupboards inside the bedroom were charred.

Two fire tenders from Vasco fire station managed to douse the fire within an hour.

Firemen were informed at 9.43 in the morning.
