One killed, another serious in Vasco accident

One person was killed and another grievously injured in a fatal accident at Dabolim early on Saturday. 35-year-old Prakash Kumar died on the spot and pillion Suman was shifted to hospital in a serious condition.

Vasco police station sources said that the accident occurred at around 1.30 am near the NSD traffic Circle when two employees of a private company were returning from a night shift on a Aviator scooter. The scooter banged against a traffic signal and went off the road killing the rider and seriously injuring the pillion.
