On Wednesday evening, 22 year old Deepak Karwat from Kopardem Dhangarwada in Valpoi died after drowning in the Edorem river. As per information, Deepak was near the river extracting sand, after finishing his work he went a swim at 5.30 in the evening but didn't come back on his own. He lost his life locals along with the fire officials brought out his body by 6.30.
