Vasco: Mudhill under footbridge connecting Rly stn collapses

The regular commuters are now scared to take this path. Here’s why

 This foot bridge connects Driver’s Hill to Vasco da Gama Railway Station.

Due to the recent incessant rains, Drivers Hill side of the foot-over bridge has eroded and substantial mud and boulders have slid down near the point where the bridge touches the hill.

This affects the structural stability of the bridge. 

Seeking a political opportunity, soon after the incident the members of the Goa Pradesh Congress Committee, Vasco Block submitted a memorandum to the Vasco railway authority asking them to look into the issue.
