Rain once again plays havoc all over Goa

Heavy rains wracked havoc across Goa once again. Flooding, tree collapse and other tragedies were witnessed in various parts of Goa. Paroda villagers had to face brunt of heavy downpour after village was submerged.



9 people were injured due to tree falling incidents at Cacra. While, Panaji city was completely flooded till late evening. Here's more.

 Every monsoon Paroda village is submerged and the roads are closed. People had hard time walking through waist deep waters. The roads were closed and police were deployed to divert the traffic. Crossing the bridge was really scary.

 Cacra is a small coastal village near Goa University. A huge tree fell down, injuring nine locals.  Two of them have been shifted to GMC hospital. 7 coconut trees, two mango trees and one banayan tree came crashing down on the houses damaging life and property. Officials of Disaster Management carried out rescue operations. Deputy collector shared the details.

With heavy rains throughout the night and the day, capital city of Panaji was submerged as usual.  Roads in the Capital were flooded. Motorists had to struggle while driving their vehicles. A petrol pump at Caranzalem was also submerged. The rain water also created mess at 18th June road. Shops were almost flooded due to water.
