Govt to go strict on rent vehicle owners, harassing tourist at airport

 The Rent a Cab, and Bike will have their licenses cancelled after a review. A stop order is also being issued for no new permissions for rent a cab and bike.

Transport Minister Mauvin Godhino was speaking to media after Airport advisory committee meeting held at airport on Tuesday.

He added that he also directed the police and RTO to start enforcement drive against the taxis and rent a car bike who are obstructing traffic harrsaing passenger on roads and at airport.

Airport Director Gagan Malik said that the issues related to parking and confusion at the airport terminal were the highlights of the meeting.
