Sports in Goa is not just something that one does or loves but is a religion for the Goans
On Friday the 7th edition of the Tribal Sports Festival 2017-2018 was inaugurated.
This festival is organized by the Sports Authority of Goa.
This 2 days sports festival kicked off at the Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru stadium in Fatorda on Friday morning.
Participants are from all 12 different talukas in Goa.
Special games like Volleyball, Kabbadi, Kho Kho, Tennikoit, Langadi, Logoryo, Koynebal, Tug of War are some of the main games and activities at the event.
The festival was inaugurated by Sports minister Babu Azgaonkar, in the presence of Local MLA Vijai Sardessai and other dignitaries from sports authority and from the field of sports.
