Suman Yadav , Vaishnavi Prabhu win bronze in Boxing; Goa loose to Mizoram in football

Suman Yadav won the Bronze in the U-17 Girls Boxing competition at the 2nd Khelo India youth Games at Balewadi Pune Maharashtra on Thursday.

She lost to Anju Devi of Karnataka in the semifinal’s. Vaishnavi Prabhu also won the Bronze in Boxing.

But sadly Goa lost to Mizoram in football.

In the Girls U 21, Goa’s Vaishnavi Prabhu lost to Amrit of Haryana having to settle for a bronze medal.

With these two medals Goa’s Medal count went up to 17 medals , 8 Silver And 9 Bronze. In football Goa’s campaign came to an end.
