Goan boy shows Muscles at Dubai Muscle Show

Goan 26 year old muscular from Panaji, stole the hearts of every Goan and Indian living in Dubai and here in Goa by making Goa and the country proud. Vitthal Govekar won the 7th place at the Dubai Muscle Show on Saturday by defeating nearly 700 participants from different countries across the world. The body building and muscle championship was held in Dubai on the 6 and 7th of December.



Vitthal Govekar, won the championship in the Classic physique category. Contestants from Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Pakistan, UAE and Iran were ahead of Vitthal to win the title at the Dubai World Trade Centre in Dubai.

Vitthal had taken part for Mr. Goa in 2015 and had won it too, he was a then working as a fitness trainer at a popular Gym in Goa. He then flew to Dubai to make his career in 2017, Vitthal presently is a bouncer for Club in Dubai and also a fitness trainer at a gym in Dubai.

Speaking to Goa365's Clinton D'Souza exclusively, Vitthal said that he spends nearly 3 to 4 hours daily in the Gym, to make sure he is fit and ready for any such championship and follows a strict diet. Besides bodybuilding, he also loves swimming and running.

He also added that he knew that the  competition would be tough at Dubai Muscle Show, with contestants coming from around the world,  And to just be a participant on such a massive international platform was an honour for him. Now his focus is on bodybuilding and to be the best.
