2 Goans become national Martial Arts champs, need Govt support

Two Goan lads Abdul Rahim and Deep Salelkar won gold medals at All India Mixed Martial Arts tournament. It was held in Delhi. Three lads from Goa had participated in the tournament.



The Goan boys won the national trophies against a tough competition.


Coach and player Abdul Rahim said that many boys had taken up the sport but were not able to take it further because of lack of financial support.


He requested the government to support the Goan youth in mixed martial arts since there is immense talent.
