No concrete decision could be taken on the National Highway bypass that passes through Balli and Sirlim villages. Villagers are concerned that they are going to loose their homes.
The authorities were supposed to hold a presentation on the issue.
However, the presentation was postponed as local BJP MLA Clafacio Dias and Minister Filipe Neri Rodrigues said that they wanted all the houses to be saved.
At the presentation that was held on Monday, three alternatives were given.
Clafacio objected to them saying that he was not satisfied with the proposals and got it postponed.
Filipe Neri too got upset as no top PWD official was present for the presentation.
