Polln Control board unfair on Vascoites, alleges Mahila Cong

The Congress has criticised the action of the Goa State Pollution Control board of imposing a fine for the alleged pollution cause due to coal handling in Vasco and then letting the coal handling continue.



Mahila chief Pratima Coutinho called it a collusion among various parties and said that they would bring out a morcha to the Goa State Pollution Control Office to protest this action of the Board. 


Vasco is a victim of coal pollution. The Board has acknowledged this after tests. The people have also been up in arms with delegations visiting MPT office and holding protests. Pratima criticised the imposition of the fine by the board. Watch.


The youth Congress president Varad Mardolkar alleged that goans were leaving the state due to lack of jobs. He also criticised the government for partiality in government jobs. watch
