Mining review petition to come up in 10 days: CM

The chief minister On Wednesday said that he was hopeful that the review petition on Supreme Court order on mining would come up in the next 10 days. He also said that they had approached the Court regarding the handling of dumps in the state.

The Local MLA and Urban Development Minister Milind Naik was upset after news filtered that the naphtha from the ill fated chemical tanker was supposed to be off loaded on to Vasco.

On Tuesday he had threatened a morcha to the MPT chairman's house on Wednesday if the order was not withdrawn. That did not happen.
