Govt notifies 45 days for NPR work

With the issuing of the notification the work on the National population Register in the state has begun. The notification sets aside 45 days’ period for the work.
The NPR has met with resistance from many states.
Some including West Bengal have point blank refused to start work on the updation.
Kerala has even threatened to approach the courts. The work is supposed to start on 6th of April and end on 30th of May.
