Goa to witness heavy rain till Aug 14

Goa will witness heavy rainfall till 14th of August. The low pressure area in Bay of Bengal and off-shore through in Arabian Sea has led to an increase in rainfall from Monday onwards, said the Indian MET department.

Light to Moderate rainfall spells are very likely at most places over Goa.

Moderate to intense rainfall spells are very likely to continue in intervals over Panaji.

Rain is very likely to be accompanied with winds of speed 30-40 km/hr.

Sanguem and Quepem received most rainfall compare to other talukas. Fishermen are advised not to venture into the sea, informed IMD.
