GMC to get top class canteens, promises Vishwajeet

Government has decided to award the contract of the canteen to a company called Sodexo.

Health Minister Vishwajeet Rane says he has laid plans to set up a canteen in GMC on the AIIMS, Delhi lines. 

Vishwajeet says he will provide quality food in GMC aka private hospitals of Mumbai and Pune.

He says that no one wants to eat the food which is presently available in GMC canteens.

Earlier, the FDA had sealed all the canteens in GMC premises citing violations. From then onwards Rane decided to outsource GMC canteens in order to provide better food.

 Rane was speaking was speaking during the inauguration of health care unit at Community Health Centre in Tuem.

He said government is working hard in bid to provide better facilities to common people.

28 various blood testing machines have been bought and it will be delivered soon to the locals health centers.
