Fishermen advised not to venture into seas on Nov 22 & 23: IMD

A cyclonic storm ''Gati'' has been formed in southwest Arabian Sea. However, it won't impact Goa. The weather will remain dry. However, MET dept has advised fishermen not to venture into the sea.



There is warning for South Maharashtra & Goa beyond 75 kms of the coast.


Squally wind speed reaching 45-55 km/hr gusting to 65 km/hr are likely to prevail over southwest & adjoining west-central Arabian Sea and the condition will be rough to very rough on 22nd & 23rd November.


Fishermen are advised not venture into sea during this period. Meanwhile, dry weather will prevail in Goa till 26 November.


They sky will be partly cloudy. Minimum temperature will be 22 degree Celsius and maximum will be 34 degree Celsius.
