Chorao bandh breaches fixed: Farmers all set to cultivate their fields

 They managed to repair three breaches with the help of the government authorities.The Chorao fields are cultivated by around 100 farmers.

The breaches of bandhs and sluice gates are a constant headache of farmers all over the state.

Whenever there is a breach in a bandh saline water enters the paddy fields thus rendering them uncultivable.

The cost of repairing the breaches is prohibitive. Hence many fields lie fallow.
