MMC aims for plastic free Chovoth, says MMC chairperson

Mormugao municipal council on Wednesday  distributed around 5000 bags in the busy market. 

On Wednesday huge crowd had gathered to buy a lot of vegetables  and fruits for Matoli. 

Speaking  to the media MMC chairperson  Bhavana Nanoskar  said that the council was endeavoring for a plastic free Ganesh.

Councillor Kritesh Gaonkar  said that MMC was hoping that there would be  no use of plastics in the council  and this would be example for all other councils in the state.
