Goa report floods, tree falling incident due to heavy rains

Incessant rains have created havoc across the State. Looks as if the pre-monsoon work in the capital were not done properly at all.



Because this year too 18 June road was completeley flooded.


Water also entered into the shops.


The Bicholim river overflowed leading to flooding in plantations along its banks.

The 18 June road in Panaji turned into river due to the heavy rains. The road was flooded completely and water had rose to knees level.


There was heavy rain in Bicholim too. The river jumped its banks on both sides.


An alert was issued to villagers residing on banks of Chapora river as water level in Tillari Dam rose very high.


Water from Tilari reservoir too was releaded through spillway. WRD says that there are chances of increase in water level of the Chapora river.


The iconic 'Hattiche Garden', Chacha Nehru Park in Mapusa saw a huge tree come crashing down inside due to incessant rain on Thursday morning.
