Bailancho Ekvott wants CBI to investigate missing women cases

NGO Bailancho Ekvott wants the Central Bureau of Investigation to investigate the issue of women vanishing without trace in the state.



The NGO says several women have gone missing but nothing has been done to get to the bottom of the matter.

President of Bailancho Ekvott Auda Viegas says she has written to the chief minister, chief secretary and home secretary about the cases of missing women.

Auda suspects that murder and rape accused Mahanand Naik’s involvement in the cases of missing girls too.
