Narkasur competition held all over Goa.

The demon Narkasur was defeated by lord Krishna. And people burnt Narkasur effigies during wee hours of Monday and commenced Diwali celebrations.

Narkasur Competition held at Vasco was a prime attraction. 

Festival of Lights a Akash Divo competition was held at Parra.

Well known Konkani singer Soniya Sirsat and other youths entertained people with their melodic tunes. 

Youths from Sautawaddo-Calangute organised Narkasur competition at Baga Parking.

Romtamel played by participants was attraction along with narkasurs. 

 Apart from Narkasur competition a palanquin procession of lord Krishna was held in Margao. Narkasur competitions were also held in Fatorda and Margao.   

Bicholkar lighten their lamps after burning effigy of Narkasur.

Various groups from Sanvordem-Curchorem bought their narkasur at the competition held at Curchorem. Terrifying Narkasur became hit among the people.
