Goa celebrates Mahashivratri

According Hindu calendar, Mahashivratri is celebrated on Magh Krishna Chaturdashi tithi.

On this day of Mahashivratri lord Shankar had transformed himself into the Shivling.

Mahashivratri celebrated in Panaji, Margao, Fatorda, Ponda, Bicholim, Parsem and other villages.
