Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar meets people selectively. There are more people that he does not meet than he does meet.

But he called dissident and former Canacona BJP MLA Ramesh Tawadkar and tried to persuade him to come back to the party fold. But Tawadkar says he refused.

He has now decided to contest the Lok Sabha elections from South Goa. Here's more.

However, no decision has been taken on which party he would contest. Ramesh Tawadkar had shown his clout at the Lokotsav organized by him in his Gaodongri village.

Leaders from BJP, Congress and GSM were all present. Now the BJP, racked by dissidence, wants to get him back into the fold. That's why Parrikar called him.

Tawadkar has still not revealed on which ticket he wold contest Lok Sabha election.

He has already started campaigning in four talukas. He has also met UTTA protesters.
