Sudin will resign if proved that he takes ‘commission’: MGP

The Maharashtrawadi Gomantak Party has said they would tell their leader Sudin Dhavalikar to resign as minister if anybody proves that he takes commission for the works done by the PWD.

The allegation in this regard was made by Dhavalikar’s own ministerial colleague Govind Gaude.

The MGP has now started asking for Gaude’s head if the BJP wants MGP’s support for Lok Sabha election.

Independent MLA of Priol and minister Govind Gaude had come down heavily on PWD minister Sudin Dhavalikar and had demanded his resignation for the alleged corruption in PWD.

But Sudin apparently has decided not to react immediately.

Instead, his MGP workers from Ponda and panch-sarpanchas from his Madkai constituency are reacting.

In one such press conference, MGP’s Ponda President Anil Naik replied to Govind Gaude in this manner.

While this happened on Sunday, on Monday panch and sarpanchas of Madkai constituency demanded that Gaude be dropped from ministry if the BJP wants MGP’s support for the forthcoming Lok Sabha election.

Nor even a week has passed for Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar telling his own BJP minister Francisco D’Souza and deputy speaker Michael Lobo not to wash their dirty linen in public.

And now this war has shifted from Bardez to Ponda taluka. Will Parrikar intervene once again?

And will Sudin personally clarify on the allegations made by his own cabinet colleague?

Because this is what Govind Gaude has said about his own government.
