Politicking should start once the election code of conduct comes into play.

In the time before that politicians should serve the public.

And it is the duty of the people to ensure that such people are elected.

This is what art and culture minister Govind Gaude had to say on the present political situation in the state.

Gaude was speaking to media after valedictory function of the district level philatelic exhibition at Panaji.
