Give affidavit on Mhadei & I quit politics, Sudin’s challenge to CM

: I will quit politics if Govt gives affidavit in Court and Assembly that his government will not allow Mhadei water to be diverted to Karnataka. This is a challenge thrown up by MGP MLA Sudin Dhavalikar. According to him, 27 percent water of Mhadei has already been diverted by Karnataka.

After launching Mhadei campaign Usthem in Sattari, MGP leader Sudin Dhavalikar now plans second agitation in Ponda, at Opa along Khandepar river from 26^th January. According to him, diversion of Mhadei will badly affect Opa water supply, which supplies drinking water to Ponda as well as Tiswadi talukas. As the flow of Mhadei will reduce after diversion, saline water will rise up in Khandepar river beyond Opa at the hide tide.
