CM should clarify the purpose behind Dodamarg land deals: Cong

Congress has alleged that 2966 acres of land bought by Chief Minister Pramod Sawant at Dodamarg is not agricultural land. Person cannot buy more than 56 acre of agricultural land in Maharashtra, the party alleged and demanded that the Chief Minister make clear the purpose behind buying such a large chunk of land or else he should resign.

AICC National Spokesman Pawan Khera said Chief Minister Pramod Sawant has done series of land deals in Dodamarg since he was MLA, Khera said.

The 2966 acres of land has bought by Chief Minister who had called it agriculture land.

He alleged that the Chief Minister was busy buying land and had turned a blind eye towards governance.
