CM inspects Mandovi, Zuari bridges, holds discussions with GSIDC, L&T engineers

Underfire Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar on Sunday visited the construction site of 3rd Mandovi Bridge and inspected the Zuari bridge work.



He inspected ongoing works and discussed matters with GSIDC and L&T engineers.

On Saturday he had inaugurated plaque of the NIT campus, albeit at his residence. 

 A frail looking Parrikar alighted form his car on the cable stayed Mandovi bride at around 4.30 in the evening on Sunday.

He than took stock of the ongoing construction work, holding discussions with Government has set the target to throw open Mandovi bridge on January 12. 

Later on he conducted a survey of the ongoing Zuari bridge. 

Meanwhile, GPCC president Girish Chodankar condemned the inauguration of NIT at the private residence of Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar.

Girish alleged the motive of this photo is to influence the court when PIL is filed challenging the health condition of CM.  

Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar had laid foundation stone for NIT Campus at his private residence in Donapaula on Saturday evening.

NIT campus is set to come up in Cuncolim. HRD minister Prakash Jawdekar, South Goa MP Narendra Sawaikar, BJP president Vinay Tendulkar, Cuncolim former MLA Subhas Naik and others were present.
