It was a hatrrick and once again a total sweep for the Aam Aadmi Party in Delhi Assembly elections. Last time it was 67 out of 70. This time 62. Only 8 for the BJP in the nation capital, from where Narendra Modi rules the nation. And not a single seat for Congress. A historic win indeed.

Arvind Kejriwal became the Delhi CM for the third consecutive time with a clean sweep. The BJP could rise slightly from the three seats it won last time. Obviously it was celebration time for AAP,

which countered ‘Goli Maro’ campaign and accusations like Kejriwal is a terrorist. Even before all the results were out, Kejriwal did his victory speech. And the BJP as well as Congress congratulated him.

The victory of AAP was expected. And the question being debated in the TV debates was whether AAP would now be able to cross the boundaries of Delhi and replicate this formula of governance in other states like Punjab, Goa etc.

One such debate was on India Today, where Rajdeep Sardesai asked Ashutosh, a journalist who had joined AAP and had camped in Goa during 2017 election. He has quit AAP today and back to journalism.

Goa’s leader of opposition Digambar Kamat was asked for his reaction on debacle of Congress and prospects of AAP in Goa.
