Tirval voters finally boycott elections

Marle-Tirval villagers stood by their promise. They boycotted the elections instead of choosing NOTA. The reason. They they do not have roads, or electricity. They feel that their village has been ignored.

They are going to boycott the elections as the Khotigao sanctuary road has still not been completed.

Goa 365 highligted the news leading to officials of the election commission, Cancona Congress MLA Isidore Fernandes and AAP leader Elvis Gomes rushing to the village.

Election commission had suggested that they go for NOTA but they were not willing to do that.

On election day Isidore Fernandes, Mamlatdar, and even the Deputy collector requested them to vote. But Marle-Tirval villagers were adamant.
