Siddhart car attack: culprit to be arrested in a couple of days, says CM

The chief minsiter has promised action, saying the culprit will be arrested in a couple of days.

But the Congress said that this incident was stage managed. 

Chief Minister Pramod Sawant has condemned the incident.

He said that Panaji PI has said tha the would arrest the culprit by this evening.

The police force will be beefed up to avoid such incidents. BJP Panaji candidate Siddhart Kuncolienkar blamed rivals for carrying out this attack after getting frustrated by huge rally of Nitin Gadkari.

The CCP corporators from BJP panel have condemned this incident.

CCP corporator Menino D'Cruz said such incidents used to take place before 1994.

They urged government to act in the matter.

GPCC president Girish Chodankar called this incident a staged managed.

He accused Siddhart for hooliganism by recalling old incident of 2017 where he alleged that Siddhart once ransacked the poling booth of Congress.

While, Congress Panaji candidate Babush Monserratte made clear that he is not behind this incident.

Babush said he believes in violence free elections and no complaint of violence during elections is registered against him. 

AAP believes that this incident could be a publicity stunt.

AAP avoided to talk further about this incident saying they have no idea what happened.
