Goa Forward on Tuesday said that it had officially exited from the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance in power in the Centre. It also promised that it will not tie up with NDA in future. Ironically, the Vijai Sardesai led party has been in talks with the Congress party at the high command level as well the local level trying to cobble up an alliance for the upcoming assembly elections for the past so many months.

Goa Forward was thrown out of the government in July 2019 after the demise of the then Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar. However, it was still in the NDA. And despite this The congress Legislature party leader Digambar Kamat and Co Coordination committee chief Reginaldo Lourenco had a tie up for the muncipality elections, an action attacked by the party organisation in a press conference in Fatorda itself. Listen to what Vijai has to say on his decision.

Listen to what the Congress Spokesman had to say on the alliance a couple of days back.
