Did not like Rane’s explanation on menial jobs remarks: Sardinha

Former chief minister Francisco Sardinha has said he is not happy with the explanation given by another former chief minister Pratapsingh Rane over his remark about Goans doing menial jobs in London.



Rane’s remarks in the legislative assembly had raised a furor among Goans over the social media.

His own party under pressure in its south goa bastion has demanded an apology.

Sardinha was critical of the government mismanagement of traffic on roads.


He said that in case the police personnel were not enough the state coluld make use of the army to manage the traffic. 


The former MP also wanted the government to take action on the cattle that are sitting all over the state on busy crowded roads.
