Chief minister Manohar Parrikar is still at the GMC. He was admitted there on Saturday. After doctors from AIIMS examining him, the government says he is stable and internal bleeding has stopped.

One doctor from AIIMS has flown back to Delhi, the other doctor is still here. But the government says Parrikar would be discharged within a day or two.

It was the Chief Minister’s Office which had said that Parrikar is admitted at GMC for upper body endoscopy. While all kind of rumours started spreading on social media, Health Minister Vishwajit Rane said he is the only one visiting him regularly and he would give official and factual position.

He does not deny that there was some discomfort but says that all his parameters are now stable. He would be kept for more days only for observation. No need to worry.

The Health minister said that there was absolutely no internal bleeding as was being speculated and he was not going to be shifted to Delhi.

The health minister also made an appeal to not fall for speculation and rumours.

There were quite a few leaders, mostly from the BJP though, who visited the ailing chief minister at the GMC. We spoke to a couple. On Saturday the chief minister was admitted to the GMC.
