Restart mining legally, Sanvordekars urge Governor

On Thursday, the panchayat members along with their counsel met Governor Satyapal Malik and gave him a memorandum.

The mining industry is shut in Goa for last several years.

Along with workers, mining dependants are facing extreme hardships.

Savordem panchayat members met the governor to discuss the issue faced by the people due to the mining ban.

They hope the Governor would be able to take up their cause.
