Who was responsible for restarting mining transport in Goa? The Government is tom tomming the Supreme Court order that allows legal ore to be sold. But the opposition says that it is actually the achievement of mining companies.

GPCC president, Girish Chodankar on Friday who came down heavily on Chief Minister Pramod Sawant, alleging that he was taking the credit for doing nothing. Girish said that it was the mining companies who fought and not the Government.

But Power Minister Nilesh Cabral has welcomed the Supreme Courts decision on mining and is optimistic that legal mining will start immediately. He also thanked and praised Chief Minister  Pramod Sawant for restarting mining activity.
