The mining dependents spent three days in Delhi holding a dharna.

But there has been no firm assurance on bringing a bill in the Parliament from any national leader.

They didn't even visited the dharna.

Their leader Puti Gaonkar is furious. He is planning a Goa Bandh during Christmas week.

The dharna began on 11th December, two days Ramlila Maidan and one day at Jantar Mantar.

Most of the Goan politicians visited the dharna. But only three national level MPs turned up.

Deve Gowda of Janata Dal Secular, Sanjay Raut of Shiv Sena and Sanjay Singh of Aam Aadmi Party.

They only assured to support the bill if it's introduced. But no assurance from the ruling party on its introduction and about getting the bill passed.

The mining dependents thus plan Goa Bandh during Christmas.

Goa Suraksha Manch leader Subhash Velingkar also reached Delhi. And he blasted all the three Goa BJP MPs .

Goa's minister Nilesh Cabral had told in Delhi that Dr Claude Alvares should be shunted out of Goa.

He had approached the Supreme Court against illegal mining.

Besides Congress, Goans on social media also pounced upon Cabral.

But mining dependents are fully supporting Cabral.
