Mining to restart in Goa, says Shripad

The blame game for mining closure continues. On Wednesday the Ayush Minister Shripad Naik blamed the NGO who had approached the Supreme Court on mining.



He said that the Government will resume mining in Goa, and the centre is also working on it. Here's more

The Union Minister was speaking at the inaugural function of a community hall of shri Ramchandra Devasthan at Khadki in Sattari.

Goa Foundation had approached the court on illegal mining as well as the renewal of leases to 88 mines.

On both these the government was found wanting and had been pulled up by the courts.

Also the government has ore with it. but the auctions have still not yielded much results.
