Goa govt wants partial running of mining before mines are auctioned

Goa government is seriously thinking of finding a way out to keep the mining industry running partially by allowing transport of the ore extracted till 15th of March.



In view of this, the three-member committee of ministers is planning a cabinet meeting also invite central ministers to Goa to meet the mining dependents. 

The barge owners and truck owners sought this assurance on Monday by meeting ministers Sudin Dhawalikar and Vijai Sardesai.

The delegation demands that the government get an approval for the transportation of the ore till next few months.

They say if the government fails to do so, then they will be immediately out of jobs
